What will happen with Global Warming?

Question to Spirit:
In recent years parts of Britain have been severely flooded, we believe due to global warming and lack of care for the environment. If the situation is unchecked can you tell us what will happen?

Answer from Spirit:
The situation with your abandonment of your need to keep your planet in order, its environment in pristine condition is one of sorryness and lack of foresight. The line between keeping your planet healthy and moving to a situation where it turns against you is narrow and to be treated with respect. The beauty that is there for you all is so apparent to us, and yet you deny this, you take this away from yourselves, this reward for being alive is the beauty in which you live. And yet to abandon it, to leave it to unnecessary problems that you give it, is backward and incomprehensible to us. This fine line that divides you between a paradise and a devastation is to be walked with care, and for you to understand the impact you have on your everyday lives by abandoning your planet, you take and you take, and you do not return the goodness you are given. This energy of goodness in your earth is starting to wane. This energy of goodness is fighting to survive. You must be aware of the uniqueness of your planet, the oneness with the divine one it represents, and to hurt your environment is hurting us also. The sadness I feel when I see this incomprehensible abandonment is deep and hard felt within us. But you have within you the ability to draw back from the abyss, there is within you the common sense to know when enough is enough. I see the wonderful achievements in your gardens, the care you take when you are given the responsibility of growing for yourselves in a small way. But your economy, your lack of understanding as a whole people becomes more apparent to us when you are swayed off the course you have chosen to be on. These examples I give you, on the one hand of your ability to grow and become at one with your planet, and on the other to destroy, are examples of you being swayed by others who are not so well enlightened. Your thoughts to these people in power will help to correct this situation, and I bless those who love this planet dearly. My hopes are for you to correct and bring forward the light and the wonderment this planet can give and it is our greatest wish to see this brought forward within you all, amen.

Developing countries like the Philippines are the most vulnerable and least prepared to face the climate crisis. Climate experts say that unless decisive solutions are immediately put on the table, the worst is yet to come. As we continue to develop and upgrade climate change adaptation mechanisms at home, Greenpeace strongly calls on industrialized countries, which account for most of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions the greatest contributor to climate change to take responsibility. It is unfair that people in the Philippines should be the ones paying a greater price for the damage that developed countries have wrought on the environment.
